This course is intended for all seafaring personnel who need to be able to practice elementary first aid on board ship. It provides an introduction to the principles of first aid showing how to respond to the most common medical emergencies that you may face.
The course can be used onboard ship or ashore and is designed for individual self-study. It may also be used in support of shore-based Elementary First Aid Courses to consolidate work done in the classroom. The Course will take approximately 6 hours to complete including the tests.
