First Aid Annual Refresher Course is a  3 hours in total  covering CPR/AED, Care of the unconscious casualty, shock and external bleeding. The course includes updates on changes that have occurred both legislative and procedural. This course is designed for all those who hold a current HSE first aid qualification. Although the course is not mandatory its is recommended for companies to keep their staff up to date and seen as good working practice.

During your First Aid Annual refresher course you will be required to demonstrate knowledge and understanding during the practical assessments and to clarify your understanding you will be asked questions during the course.

Seatrek General Course Information


Courses taken on the water are carried out on board our 6.5 meter RIB and our 45′ Nelson. The RIB is suitable for all levels of students and has a 130hp Honda. Our Nelson has two twin Sabre’s

Shorebased courses are held either in our classroom or in hotel facilities depending on the numbers attending the course.

Times 09.00 – 17.00 hrs with  a break for lunch and morning &  afternoon refreshments.

Waterproof clothing is available should students not have their own. Life jackets are supplied on all courses, however, if students wish to bring their own then they are more than welcome.  They will be checked by your instructor prior to going out.

There are shower and toilet facilities on site with disabled access as well. It is recommended you bring with you a warm set of dry clothes to change into, in case of inclement weather. Sun cream hat and gloves are also a must, windburn and sunburn can be sore if preventive measures are not taken.
