Our Emergency First Aid at Work Course  is a recognised one day course and is a comprehensive introduction to first aid or for those who wish to become nominated first aider’s in their workplace.

The Emergency First Aid at Work Course covers a number of topics such as Principles of first Aid, Incident & Casualty Management, CPR, Care of the Unconscious Casualty and related conditions, Choking, Circulatory shock, Bleeding & wounds, Miscellaneous Injuries such as Small cuts, grazes scaled & splinters

This course although covers a large syllabus will not cover all the topics which can be found in the First Aid at Work Course. It is important to understand your risk assessment within the workplace as to whether you are undertaking the right level of training. During your Emergency First Aid at Work course you will be required to demonstrate knowledge and understanding this will be assessed through practical’s and theory assessments. Once we are satisfied that students have a comprehensive understanding they will be issued their certificate.

The certificate awarded by us on successful completion of the course is valid for 3 years. To maintain the qualification you will be required to undertake another course prior to the expiry date to keep the qualification in date.

It is recommended that an annual 3 hour refresher be carried out to maintain a level of skill and up date on any recent changes.

Seatrek General Course Information


Courses taken on the water are carried out on board our 6.5 meter RIB and our 45′ Nelson. The RIB is suitable for all levels of students and has a 130hp Honda. Our Nelson has two twin Sabre’s

Shorebased courses are held either in our classroom or in hotel facilities depending on the numbers attending the course.

Times 09.00 – 17.00 hrs with  a break for lunch and morning &  afternoon refreshments.

Waterproof clothing is available should students not have their own. Life jackets are supplied on all courses, however, if students wish to bring their own then they are more than welcome.  They will be checked by your instructor prior to going out.

There are shower and toilet facilities on site with disabled access as well. It is recommended you bring with you a warm set of dry clothes to change into, in case of inclement weather. Sun cream hat and gloves are also a must, windburn and sunburn can be sore if preventive measures are not taken.
